I am a sociologist studying relationships between society and nature. I am interested in how the economy and labor impact the environment and shape people’s relationship to nature. I draw on interdisciplinary approaches in my scholarship and teaching to understand these complex and multifaceted relationships.
Currently I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Davidson College where I teach courses related to environmental justice, social movements, climate change, globalization and development, and political ecology.
